One on One with Benjamin Nzobonankira
Coming up in One On One, Kris Laudien speaks with Benjamin Nzobonankira, a former child refugee, and current Coach Trainer for Right To Play.
Born in Burundi in 1983, Benjamin was forced to flee his home country, briefly settling in Rwanda before the genocide of 1994. When conflict broke out, he traveled further to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he stayed until the onset of the Banyamulenge War in 1996. His journey took him as far as Lukole refugee camp in Northern Tanzania, where he spent his teenage years completing his secondary school education and where he was first introduced to Right To Play.
Tune in to learn how sport and play has made a difference in Benjamin's life.
